Tennis for Life Tournament 2012

The Greene County Tennis Association will be hosting the fifth annual Greene County American Cancer Society Tennis for Life Tournament on Saturday, April 21st from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.   The first 16 mixed doubles teams to enter will make up the field for the compass draw event that will guarantee all teams four matches.   Matches will be pro-8 sets wiith a tiebreak at 8-8.   The entry fee is $25 per player with a third serve option for an additional $5.00 donation.   The deadline for entry is Tuesday, April 17th at 9:00 p.m.   Here's an application:  RelayforLife12.APP.rtf (699,7 kB)

All players should report at 8:30 a.m. to warm up.   Play will begin at 9:00 a.m.   We'd like to encourage all of our players to plan on purchasing lunch at our concession stand during the 11:00-11:30 lunch break!   All 16 teams will play four matches.  All 16 teams will receive trophies.  The trophy presentation will begin at approximately 1:30.
